Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of ClosetAI and our Premium subscription. By creating an account or subscribing to Premium you agree to be bound by them.

1. The service

ClosetAI is a wardrobe management and AI styling app that helps you digitise your clothing, generate outfit ideas, save favourite looks, and preview outfits on a virtual or personalised model. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Premium subscription

Premium is a monthly recurring subscription billed in advance at R80 per month via PayFast. Your subscription automatically renews each month until you cancel. Premium unlocks features such as unlimited uploads, AI outfit generation across your full wardrobe, unlimited saved looks, and AI model previews.

  • Billing starts on the day you subscribe and recurs on the same day each month.
  • You must keep valid payment details on file with the payment gateway for the subscription to remain active.
  • We may change the subscription price with reasonable advance notice; any change applies only to future billing cycles after you've been notified.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time and keep Premium access until the end of your current paid billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

To cancel, you may use either of the following options:

  • Cancel via PayFast. Log in to your PayFast account, locate your ClosetAI subscription under your saved/recurring payments, and cancel it there.
  • Cancel via ClosetAI. Email us through the Contact page with the subject "Cancel subscription" and your account email, and we will process the cancellation for you.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current month for which you have already paid.

4. Refunds

Because Premium is a monthly subscription, all payments are non-refundable. We do not issue partial or full refunds for unused time within a paid billing period. If you cancel, you retain access for the remainder of that period and will not be charged again.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use ClosetAI lawfully and not to misuse the service, upload content you don't own the rights to, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of the wardrobe content you upload.

6. Intellectual property

ClosetAI, its branding, software, and AI-generated outputs remain our property or that of our licensors. A paid subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own styling needs.

7. Limitation of liability

ClosetAI is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding any claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of ClosetAI after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
